Reverse Painting on Glass / Acrylic (Original)
Reverse painting on glass is a technique where the image is painted on the back of glass and viewed from the front, requiring artists to work in reverse order.
Aziz Diagne developed a contemporary version called the Thiessoise Technique, inspired by Thiès, Senegal. His work emphasizes light, transparency, and reflection, turning glass into an active visual element. This technique blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistic expression.
